I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how special Izzy is to me. In all reality, she is more like a child than a pet. I couldn’t ask for a dog with more personality, intelligence, talent, and love. Beyond what she means to me, Izzy captures the
heart of everyone she meets. I cannot relate how many times I have heard how beautiful, smart, and well-behaved she is. She has also shown a lot of natural instinct and drive in our herding lessons, moving quickly into more distance and independent work. Izzy’s true love is agility; she shows the same drive and determination on an agility course as she does in herding work. Even more telling, if we are around agility equipment, all I have to do to find her is look to the course; she will be out there playing without me! After 5 years, I couldn’t ask for anything more, thank you for providing such an exceptional companion! |

Hi Roxie, Here is a picture of Spur with our granddaughter Mary, when they had been helping papa with the irrigation. He is very much a love and into his people and children. Plus, he loves to go trail riding out with me. He loves water and is in every puddle he can find. Plus, he loves to chase bunnies, squirrels, mice etc…. |
Dear Roxie, I've attached a picture of Hillside Walkabout Jack. Jack is from your Rope the Wind and Wild Angel litter that were born last February 19, 2010. We are very happy with Jack as he has grown into adulthood. Jack had big shoes to fill with the loss of our previous AS, Jake. He is not there yet, but is making good progress in becoming the "superintendent" of our small farm. Thank you for identifying such a brave, smart and willing pup to be my partner around the farm. This is Kona at about 10 months. He likes the snow, horses, people, and just life. We have never had a dog with so much energy but still so much fun to be around him. He keeps the yard free of deer which is his most favorite job. We were looking at Roper's pictures and could not miss the fact the nut didn't fall very far from the tree. His nickname by the way is nut ball. Kona has been doing well in obedience and just graduated from the intermediate course. he learns the program right off but his play drive is pretty strong with so many potential friends in the same room. He has people and dog friends throughout Spokane and gets a lot of treats, just because you can't forget this guy when you meet him. The family cat is his special project but were not sure if he is winning in "herd the cat". We did some Mountain horseback riding last fall. Kona got separated from us but had the sense to bark so we could follow the sounds and found him stuck in some windfalls. He stayed close after that. We could not ask for a more loyal friend than this. Richard and Eleanor Bartsch
Tuff is doing great. I really like him and he is just the nicest dog I have ever had. One of his puppies is doing really well in the trial area and has a couple titles already. I have placed all of his puppies on working farms or ranches and they like everyone of them.

I wanted to let you know you should have charged twice as much for such a fabulous dog. No biting issues at all; I hope that we continue like that. She follows when we walk, she sits pretty quickly when we stop walking. If I stand around talking to someone else, she will come up and sit looking me in the eye like, "What's next boss?" Then she will lie down quietly if she has to wait. No house accidents with plenty of trips outside. The kids are loving her to death. When I went to feed the sheep, the sheep bolted out of the barn, and scared her this morning. I didn't know they were all asleep in there! She ran back high speed toward the house. I continued feeding the sheep and apparently being alone was scarier than coming out in the field with the sheep again to find me. :) We are very happy with her.
Thank You, David

We have a new granddaughter (Oct. 15) and Harley lays down right beside her and keeps an eye on her. What an awesome dog he is.

We love Dollee so much!
Rajah is doing great..wonderful personality and social skills with other dogs (regularly attends the local off leach dog park and is given many positive comments) and people of good character. Not a barker at all. No health issues.. Attentive and willing to please at any time he has the opportunity...He talks a lot when he wants something like going for a ride in the car or playing fetch with one of his 20 different balls...He is definitely a keeper..now 2+ years old. Thanks for having such a great breeding program...

Hello Bernbaum clan,
We bought a pup from you this past June. The little black bi male, although he is not so little anymore. I have been going to email you and tell you what a wonderful dog he is. Besides just being a great pet and companion, (he's the best dog I have ever had) we have just passed our basic obedience and are starting intermediate. I have many Aussie people tell me to continue on with obedience, because he would be great, he's beautiful dog and a great personality. He was just an icredible pup, Amazing, and quite the character, Jokester. Ala, his name Amazing Joker. He loves everybody, is great with kids, does not have a mean bone in his body, travels well, and of course has to be the center of attention. I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoy this dog. I will try to send some pictures although we have a very slow connection. Maybe we will see you again at a dog show, or equestrian event.
Thanks again,
Dick and Cathy Stangland

Hi Roxie, We are still so in love with Anakin. He couldn't be any more perfect. He is so loyal to both of us, but definitely a mamas boy. He is such a talker and greets us with a big smile all the time.

Hello Roxie,
I took some pictures tonight of our three dogs and wanted to share with you what the male we got from you guys was looking like! I think he looks a lot like Roper. He's a big boy, but just a big teddy bear! He's my little buddy, while my other two dogs are off watching the chickens or the cows he's always by my side. He also loves to eat toooo many apples!! He discovered them when they started to fall off our apple tree!! Anyways he's doing great!! I hope you enjoy the pictures! Emily

Hiccup, has grown above my knee already he is really good natured! He loves swimming and just "sitting" in the fish pond- its funny because he gets such a stupid look on his face! We are starting obedience classes next month. He has learned to fetch, but a little slow on the frisbee just yet. He is so great... You are breeding some good dogs Roxie!! (I have some friends outside of Astoria who have an Aussie who is getting really, really old...they mentioned they would be getting another one after she goes, I will certainly recommend you to them)!

Hi Roxie - I finally took a few newer photos of Sue... she is beautiful, sweet, smart - a lovely little AUSSIE gal! We left for Arizona on October 19th, so we are down here in the nice weather... most days have been in the 70's and 80's - when we first got down here we had a few in the low 90's. Sue and Willy, my husband's McNabb cross (who is a year now) get along great. Run - play - chase and romp... they are good friends. Thanks Roxie - Sue is a keeper! here are a few shots of SUE with her second best friend (to Willy) - "ROPE!"

Good morning Roxie and Rick, Just to let you know how very much we love this puppy. We wish we had 10 just like her. She is so.....smart, just like her mom. She is such a joy. Thank you so much. I will send some pictures. We named her Abbie for short. Hillside Abigail Lane is what we registered. Again thanx again. Susan and Harry Yates
Hi Roxie, Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas. I was just thinking of you and thought I would send along a picture of our new adorable little girl. She has been the most perfect puppy. Completely house trained in a week. Used the dog door after a few days. Abbie has decided to be her mother and protector. Anyway, hope you are all well and happy. Happy New Year (It will be great in '08') Thank you again for our puppy.

Hi Roxie, I wanted to give you an update on Zoe. She is a doll. A punk at times but an absolute doll. She has gone through 3 obedience classes and the trainers keep telling me she is SO smart (which I already know). She has picked up so many commands. We just started a puppy agility class last week and she is doing incredible. Within 45 minutes she was running the course with Tyler with no leash. You'd be so proud. I'll have to take some pictures this week and send them to you. I just wanted to thank you again for such a great dog. You are truly a wonderful breeder.

Hello Roxie,
This is Tony Smith from Portland who you sold your red bi male #3 from the litter of 4/17. Just wanted you to know I named him Butch and he is doing great. He has been picking up on training quit well and is pretty much potty trained besides a few times, but other than that he is wonderful. He's been a great friend and has made my life much more enjoyable. He's a smart little one who has already gotten down sit and lay down. He's been fetching little balls and bringing them back. He's pretty vocal which is cute for now, but we will see how that goes as he gets older. He went to the vet today and everything check out and he got some more of his vaccinations. He's been out to the beach twice already and loves to run on the beach. He's not the best walker on a leash, but he is learning. I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity to get him from you and let you know he is going great. There is a pic of him attached from his day out in Manzanita.
Thanks and Sincerely,
Tony Smith
